Anysha and her pony Sannan Valley Supreme were delighted to be awarded not one but two championships this past weekend at the Welsh Winter show held at Haverfordwest. The duo took the Restricted Show Hunter Pony Championship after winning their class earlier that day, and then went on to take the Open Show Hunter Pony Championship, after also being placed first in the open 133cm Class earlier that afternoon.
Anysha also showed her new 143cm Show Hunter pony for the first time in the season. Yealand Chapter is a seasoned professional in the 143cm Show Hunter classes, and is quite a big step up from Supreme, but Anysha was delighted to take ownership of him his year. They were delighted to be placed 3rd in their first show together.
It is a pleasure to support Anysha by sponsering her and her ponies.
The Swansea County Show is always a highlight in the equestrian calender for welsh riders, as it has always brought the best competition from all over the country together to compete over the two day show. Therefore it was with much pride that Anysha and Sannan Valley Supreme won their 133cm Show Hunter Pony class at Swansea County this year, and then went one step better and also took the Show Hunter Pony Championship for the day, qualifiying them for the Champions of Champions Class at The BSPS Summer Champs in Grantham later in the season.
Everyone at Motorcare is delighted to support this hard working young girl, who only started competing at this level a year ago.
Anysha and Supreme had a wonderful show at the Royal Welsh this year and gained a 3rd in the hotly competed HOYS qualifying class - they were the highest non-produced pony and rider in the placings.
This is their second 3rd placing in a HOYS class - with the two also gaining a 3rd at the Welsh Championships earlier that week.
Motorcare wishes them all the luck in the world in their endeavor to gain one of the coveted Horse of the Year Show tickets!
St Mellons Show was almost cancelled this year due to the dreadful weather - but not even being pulled onto the showground by tractor could deflate the enthusiasm of Anysha and her pony Supreme. The two went on to win their Open Show Hunter Pony class, when even a lose stallion chasing poor Supreme around th e ring, could not put them off! They then went on to take the Reserve Championship of the day, only losing out to their friend whose large 15hh pony had just qualified for HOYS.
Anysha and Sannan Valley Supreme have had an amazing Summer season - although their main driver and support team member, namely her father, was injured and was in plaster, Anysha rode her heart out at the shows that she was able to get to, and ultimately achieved her life long ambition - she is off to The Horse of The Year Show at the NEC in October after gaining a ticket at Hampshire! This is an amazing achievement for Anysha, who after a nasty accident last year stopped jumping classes with Supreme and retrained him to a top class Show Hunter pony. Although the Sannan Valley ponies are renowned for their fantastic achievements in the Working Hunter classes, Supreme is the only Sannan Valley pony to have gained a place this year at HOYS as a Show Hunter - quite something for a 14 year old girl to achieve with a home produced pony!
The Summer Championships at Grantham are al ways a highlight of the season for all showing competitors from all over Great Britan and Northern Ireland. But this year Anysha and Supreme had even more to celebrate. For during the 5 day show they have been asked to represent Wales in the Welsh Show Hunter Pony Team. This is an amazing achievement, which we here are Motorcare are so pleased to support both her and Supreme in. Last year the two represented Wales in the Working Hunter Pony Team, so it is even more incredible that they have now switched disciplines and managed to gain another place this year! We are very proud of them both, we are now looking forward to the 2012 Olympic Games
Motorcare are proud and pleased to continue their sponsorship over the next few years!
